What do you need to know?

What is a muscle pull or sprain?

A strain is when a muscle, tendon, or ligament is pulled or amortized to the point of exhaustion. An injury is known as a sprain when muscles, tendons or ligaments are stretched or pulled severely.

ICE

Get yourself a bag of frozen peas or frozen spray. Then apply it a few hours to the injured place for 2-3 days. This helps to reduce swelling.

STRAPS

In the injured place in the affected area press or tie with a bandage.

You may also consider using an over-the-counter pain reliever containing ibuprofen – the active ingredient found in Dolofix products – as it can help relieve pain and reduce swelling.

When should you go to the doctor?

Please see your doctor if you have more pain, a muscle or joint is very swollen, or your movement is very limited.
